Medical Personnel
EMS Assist has an extensive network of trusted medical personnel who can be deployed globally to deliver first class health care at our client’s worksites.
All EMS medical personnel are taken through an extensive recruitment and onboarding process and are fully supported when on site with medical direction and a 24/7 project team.
Medical Emergency Response
Where an illness or injury occurs that requires a higher level of care than is available at the worksite, EMS Assist can provide emergency medical case management to manage a case from evacuation through to definitive care and repatriation. Working with trusted partners, EMS Assist has access to extensive global networks of primary and secondary healthcare providers, accredited ground and air ambulance providers and local agents. A key element in any effective medical risk management strategy is the Medical Emergency Response Plan (MERP). EMS Assist can provide bespoke MERP’s which detail evacuation procedures and routes, key contacts and medical resources available in the area of operation.
Topside Support
EMS Assist medical personnel have 24/7/365 access to specialist consultant medical advice. The Topside service is delivered by a team of GMC registered Consultants with extensive knowledge of Emergency Medicine and the hazards and risks of offshore and remote environments. The Topside service is designed to give an EMS Assist medic an extra level of support, enabling more cases to be managed successfully on-site, thus reducing the need for costly medical evacuations. In all cases, the Topside service will endeavour to apply a conservative approach to medicine so as to minimise recordable cases at the worksite.
